My lunch with the hubs and mil today was Malay economy rice:
No prize for guessing which plate is mine eh? Mine is always sans the rice.
Back home, the mil wokked up a big pot of Korean spicy rice cakes (Tteokbokki / Ddeokbokki, 떡볶이), an order made by Alycia.
To give this dish the moreishness, Alycia placed a slice of cheddar cheese on her bowl of rice cake and microwaved it for a few seconds.
This is not my kind of food as I do not fancy anything that's starchy. I only pecked on the cabbage, prawns, squids, fish cakes and fish balls, hehe...
